Jen was born in Georgia and raised in the mountains of Western NC. She attended UGA and then Wingate University School of Pharmacy. While she’s located in Greenville and travels frequently back and forth from Asheville, you are never too far away for a girl with an adventurous spirit and a case of wanderlust. When she's not shooting weddings internationally, getting her toes sandy on the coast for sunset maternity shoots, hiking up the Parkway for adventurous bridal sessions, or cuddling the squishiest newborn babies in her studio, she's at work as a full time pharmacist.
On a typical day you can find her cuddled up on her couch -in a home that Joanna Gaines would be proud of - editing with her three [giant] fur babies curled up around her. You can walk into her home and tell that Jen is a detail oriented person - and that is exactly what you want in a photographer. She doesn’t miss a thing.
When she’s not shooting or working she likes to try the best local restaurants with her hubby of almost 7 years. Unless it's game night - then you can find her rooting for her Dawgs or Tar Heels.. Jen is a busy lady - but she makes time for her friends and family, because she recognizes that they are the best part of life.
When she’s shooting your wedding, your bridal session, or your maternity shoot? She’s keeping in mind all of the loved ones you hold dear and capturing them for you so that you can cherish those memories for a lifetime. If you're considering hiring her - know that you aren't just hiring an amazing photographer: you're hiring an amazing person. She's not concerned with taking the kind of photos that the internet might find trendy at the moment or shooting your wedding so that she can publish it online (although frankly - every wedding she shoots is publishable). What she is concerned with and dedicated to doing is taking the kind of photographs that you'll still be gushing over in front of your grandchildren one day. Trust me, you will be.
- Sincerely, a loyal client, Victoria M.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

He's my biggest cheerleader, my rock, my support system, and my confidante. He's the first one to know when I have a crazy idea, or when I decide that we need to travel to some new place so I can photograph someone. I couldn't do it without him, and I definitely wouldn't want to.

If you've spent more than 5 seconds with me, chances are that I've mentioned at least one of them one time (or more). These furry little guys are the SWEETEST things I've ever met and offer their mama and daddy so much joy!

MEET MY FAMILY

I was always the kid with a camera. For the longest time, I took pictures of landscapes, bugs and more abstract things.  That all changed when a friend asked me to take photos of her little girl...and then her brother's wedding. I fell in love with telling a story, not just taking a picture. The emotion, the passion, the realness. And that's how I decided to run my business. I'm looking for the authentic you. Not the overly posed you. Not the Pinterest version of what you think your wedding is supposed to look like. The real smiles, the real cuddles, the real tears. That's the love story that your kids and your grandkids will want to hear about.  And that's the love story that I want to help you document.

Why do I do
what I do?
