Jen was born in GA and raised in NC.  She attended UGA and then Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She's located in upstate SC, but is always willing to travel.  When she's not shooting photos, she's a full time pharmacist. 
She's detail oriented, a bit obsessive, and a perfectionist to a fault.
  If you're considering hiring her - know that you aren't just hiring an amazing photographer: you're hiring an amazing person. She's not concerned with taking the kind of photos that the internet might find trendy at the moment or shooting your wedding so that she can publish it online (although frankly - every wedding she shoots is publishable). What she is concerned with and dedicated to doing is taking the kind of photographs that you'll still be gushing over in front of your grandchildren one day. Trust me, you will be.

My sweet little boy. Chocolate with caramel. A good book. Coffee or sweet tea. Magnolias (obviously). The beach and the salty air. Charleston, SC. Japanese food. My husband. My doggies. All doggies.  Apple products. Any shade of blue. Peacocks. Netflix/Hulu while I edit. My clients. The opportunities that I have to capture the most important moments in so many wonderful people's lives.

MEET MY FAMILY

I've always loved photos. Taking them, not being in them. After experimenting with landscapes, I fell in love with telling a story, not just taking a picture. The emotion, the passion, the realness. And that's how I decided to run my business. I'm looking for the authentic you. Not the overly posed you. Not the Pinterest version of what you think your wedding is supposed to look like. The real smiles, the real cuddles, the real tears. That's the love story that your kids and your grandkids will want to hear about.  And that's the love story that I want to help you document.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

I never intended to be a mama. But God's plans are always bigger than mine, and He knew exactly what I needed.  This little guy. SIGH. He literally melts me. He is wide open ALL the time and keeps us on our toes, but being is mama is my LITERAL favorite thing.
