All weddings are special to me.  But this one is extra special.  The groom is my baby brother! A lot of people have asked me, why would you want to shoot a family wedding? The answer is simple.  I’m too much of a control freak to not know that his images would be perfect.

Now, I know lots of things. For instance, I know that I love to shoot weddings.  Also, I know that Sawyer is one of my most favorite venues.  I know how to push the buttons on the camera to make it do what I want it to do.  I know that I’m super emotional (totally crying as I write this blog post). But I learned one thing yesterday as I shot AJ and Katie’s wedding.  I learned that I have NEVER seen my little brother smile so much in his life.  This girl lights up his world.  Getting to know Katie over the past 2 years has made me love her too.  She is a PERFECT match for my brother, and I don’t say that lightly.

The VERY BEST of wishes to both of you in this exciting new chapter in your lives.  I’m so ridiculously happy for you and I love you!!
