If you know anything about me, you know that I’ll head back to Georgia ANY chance I get. I completed my undergrad studies at the University of Georgia, and revisiting campus is one of my favorite things to do. So when Kayla and Michael inquired with me about photographing their Tate House wedding, then told me that they were both soon to be graduates from UGA, I couldn’t resist asking if we could do their engagement session at one of the most beautiful places I know…North Campus. Of course, they agreed!
Kayla and I talked about the places that were the most special to them, and we focused on including those in their session. The one place we missed, and were all pretty sad about it, is the stadium. UGA is in the middle of renovations for upcoming football season, and the middle of campus was a construction zone. They’ll be finished soon enough, and maybe I can convince Michael and Kayla to meet me for a mini session 😉
Even without the classic UGA stadium sign, Kayla and Michael’s engagement session was absolutely amazing. They toughed out the heat like true Georgia natives, and smiled all the way through it. The way she looks at him…so sweet. And the way he literally can’t take his eyes off of her? Swoon. I truly can’t wait for their wedding this coming weekend…make sure you check back for some of those photos!
