I had never had the pleasure of meeting Emily and Andy before their wedding day. Somehow, they found me while they were living in Ohio and planning a South Carolina wedding. I’m SO glad they did though!
The second I met Emily, I knew the day was going to be so much fun. Her warm personality, her sweet smile, and her amazing bridesmaid immediately put me at ease. I don’t get nervous shooting weddings anymore, but knowing I had an amazing group of girls to help me out with such a sweet bride sure does take some of the pressure off.
Andy, her fiancé, was equally as incredible. As soon as he met my husband (my second shooter for the day), they were acting like old buddies. Andy’s groomsmen provided the comic relief, and I knew that I was going to get some amazing photos all around.
The weather, however, NOT so amazing. The weekend of Andy and Emily’s wedding was the weekend the Hurricane Joaquin was pounding the East Coast. We spent most of the day dodging rain showers and crazy wind (you can see some of that wind in the group portraits!). Emily and Andy didn’t let that stop them though. Check out some of the photos from their beautiful beach wedding.
And MAJOR kudos to my handsome husband for second shooting with me!
